I recently had the pleasure of photographing an incredible engagement session with Maura and Andrew in the charming town of Newberry, SC. Initially, Maura and Andrew felt a bit awkward in front of the camera, but their transformation throughout the session was truly inspiring. Our session began with some light-hearted poses in the quaint streets of Newberry. Maura and Andrew’s initial shyness quickly melted away as we started chatting and joking around. Each click of the shutter told a story of their unique bond, and before we knew it, the awkwardness had completely vanished. Their love for each other shone through in every frame, making my job not just easier, but a true joy.

The highlight of the day came when we decided to incorporate Andrew’s right-hand drive car into the session. This added a personal touch and a bit of adventure to the shoot. The car provided a fantastic prop, allowing for some creative and playful shots. Maura and Andrew’s comfort in front of the camera grew even more as they laughed and posed with the car, ending the session on a high note. The resulting photos were a beautiful blend of romance, fun, and a touch of spontaneity – everything an engagement session should be.
